changing feelings about God - a quote
My wonderful friend started a book club in an attempt to get a diverse group of women together to read and talk and learn about each other and life in general.
It’s always a good time. Last night we met at a local pub (I had a glass of scotch, it was delicious), talked too loud, laughed a lot and touched on some profound ideas.
My other wonderful friend rephrased a sentiment shared by another woman in the group and am going to paraphrase:
“When we start thinking differently about our faith, it doesn’t change God’s feelings toward/about us but it does change our feelings toward/about God.”

Hi Makeesha! I have been reading your blog over the past several months, and I really like what you have to say. I am moving to the Denver area this summer (!!) and I am encouraged to hear how much of the emergent movement has impacted the city. Seriously, your pub club sounds fabulous!!
