Wilbur and Vixen

I thought I’d give our cats some “face time” on the blog. Vixen is our sweet female tortie who, like most cats, seems to think of herself as “all that and more”. She loves Shayel and snuggles with her all night. She likes sitting on laps but only when it suites her.

Wilbur is our dumb jock male siamese mix (snowshoe) who drools - yes folks, he drools, and he’s dumb as dirt but at least he catches bugs…and eats them…nice not to have to pick up bug carcasses. LOL

This is how Wilbur lays normally, he’s huge as you can tell - it’s solid muscle (thus the dumb jock reference).

We used to have Wilbur’s brother too, his name was Orville, but they started warring over territory and spraying all over the house so we had to get rid of one of them. Orville ran away one day and wasn’t received back by the others when he returned so we had to give him up which was sad - esp. now that we see how daft Wilbur is LOL

We were never cat people but when we were in LA and lived in an apartment we adopted a cat who was left behind by her humans when they moved - her name was Tikvah and she was wonderful. Sadly, she got ran over when we moved to Fort Collins from Loveland and the house wasn’t the same without a cat so we adopted Vixen from the humane society. What possessed us to get the boys is still a mystery. hehe
