you think the grass is greener?
I love Dan…and you all know that I genuinely love very few people, I’m a realist when it comes to love. Dan and I get each other and he doesn’t demand that my love come in the form of constant companionship, late night phone calls and never disagreeing. I’m going to miss him a ton when he moves to Madagascar. But in the mean time, I get to enjoy little tidbits like this, spoken by one of Dan’s clients.
Quote at work « Before the Tense
“You think the grass is greener on the other side, but then you get over there, and realize it is all pale.”
Dan works in the mental health profession, specifically with developmentally disabled adults. He also works with sex offenders. Needless to say, we have some very interesting conversations with Dan.
Dan and I also get each other because we grew up in evangelicalism at the same time so we get to enjoy mocking references to all the churchisms of our past…including prism - anyone ever listen to the prism collection?

It also happens to be Dan’s birthday today - YAY DAN!!! Happy Birthday.
