so where have I been?

I have no idea.

What I do know is that I’ve been fighting a “sinus thing” for about 3 weeks now and I’m art journaling for lent on actual physical paper (google it if you don’t know what paper is)

Other than that I must be getting cabin fever or something because I’m cleaning and rearranging like mad and feel a little down and unmotivated for no particular reason. Of course, times like this my family and my faith community suffer the most but they’re being gracious with me :)

I’m sure most of you get this in a feed reader and probably haven’t noticed that I haven’t written for ages but I thought I’d pop in and say hi in case anyone missed me ;)

yes I did miss you, (I’m not fond of the whole speed reader option). I know that feeling, of not being motivated etc. I hope that you are feeling better every day.

Longing for spring to come, I’m tired of the cold and rain. But take heart, it always does.

    I missed you :)

    It’s end of winter stuff.

I have plenty of graciousness to go around…maybe you and I can discover this “paper” together ;)

(read: I have about a gazillion art projects to work on and don’t mind working quietly with friends)

(also read: I tried to take my thing apart and cast on again and have no clue what I’m doing and I do it like the picture and I fail. *sigh* More coffee and tutoring are welcome :) )

You’ve been missed, atleast by me. This is one of my favorite blogs to frequent. You always have interesting topics unfolding over here and a fresh perspective! Feel better!

I’ve missed you, and I’ve seen you twice since you posted last. :) That bit about googling paper is great - HA!

I must admit my ego-driven Makeesha-blog-check, too: I’ve been waiting for you to post on your LOVES! I tagged you last week or so.

Hope the sinus thing goes bye-bye soon.

I hope you are feeling better soon Mak. Kind of know the feeling. I think it’s the “when is winter going to end” syndrome too! I’d be really interested in knowing more about your lent art journal if you have time.

Hello, my Facebook friend–I hope you’re feeling better. And thanks for the kind words on my behalf at Bob Hyatt’s blog. I think he realizes that we have much in common, but feels a bit uneasy about the “common ground” we may (or may not) have come to at the end of my atonement post.

One thing I’ve come to understand and appreciate about Bob is that he’s an ‘emerging centrist’–he gets real nervous when folks veer to much to the left or right of him. I’ve observed this firsthand with book reviews he’s done of my friend Spencer’s “A Heretic’s Guide to Eternity” (left), and my friend Frank’s “Pagan Christianity” (right).

And yet, he writes such doggone good book reviews, that I just keep coming back to read…

Mak, I miss you, hurry and come back:-)

Mike - that’s a good way to describe Bob, although I must be getting further away from what he’s comfortable with because lately his posts have pushed my buttons hehe I think maybe a lot of it is because he’s a pretty traditional pastor and I’m not, so we’re seeing this whole thing through a different lens.

anyway, thanks for stopping by :)

Thanks Lori, I’m sure I’ll have something to say soon hehe
