hard cider recommendation anyone?

I really like hard cider, there are only a few brands I can get at our neighborhood liquor store but there are lots more at the big “liquor mart” nearby….so I need recommendations. Anyone anyone?

    Uhhh … make your own? The old-fashioned way … ;-)

    That’s what we did when I was (ahem) younger and couldn’t officially get alcoholic beverages. We’d get cider and let harden. There are recipes out there … But as I recall it involves raisins and some other fruit. It’s pretty good.

    yeah … that sounds really interesting and all but I want EASY hehe.

    Actually, I found a few sites that seem pretty easy and interesting but not easy enough. Maybe I can get David interested in doing it hehe…not likely, he doesn’t like cider enough.

    the big craze in the UK is cider over ice - that’s a pint of cider with ice in it :)

    Mercury (Tasmanian/Australian so I don’t know if you can get it)

    Strongbow (I think it’s English)

    I slightly prefer Mercury and am amusing myself that I’m giving someone advice on any kind of alcohol as I know so little. I too am a cider fan.
