I love Derridra. There is a great documentary on him that I got off of Netflix. It was wonderous to watch such a smart man admit he hasn't read all the books in his library, and then can't find his keys.
I think Deconstruction and Post-Foundationalism is a call back to faith and mystery. It is a humbeling of the church that went too far with believing that we could prove things that are metaphysical, and the belief we need to, these movements give intellectual crediability that we all live with basic assumptions and its ok to have those questioned. It isn't scary, it is engaging with the Holy Spirit.
At least I think it does, as far as a therapist can understand philosophy.
