techie tip: bloglines

I have been using the google rss feedreader for some time now and was perfectly happy with it. Then I saw a post from Paul who was talking about not really liking it and Jason recommended bloglines.

I’ve been using bloglines now for a few days and I have to agree, I do like it better. I have tried a few others in months past before settling on google so I have a bit of experience in others as well.

Bloglines just feels more intuitive and that’s really the best I can do at explaining why I like it more. It’s also faster and gives more options for each feed and for the reader overall.

So if you’re looking to jump into the world of feed readers (which I recommend you do, esp. if you follow more than a handful of blogs regularly), give bloglines a go - maybe even side by side with google (put all your feeds into one and then export the feed and import into the other) and see what strikes your fancy.
