and life rolls on

Last year was a rough year for us financially because of some commission structure changes at David’s company that did not serve him well even though his performance was excellent. They made some dramatic changes and we expected this year to improve…it hasn’t really. So we have decided that we have to make choices as if his income will not increase because it’s too tight every month.

On top of that, we have both been feeling like we want to make choices intentionally to be missional.

SO…we are moving the first of August to a less expensive apartment near campus. We’re actually quite excited about it (not really the actual moving part but after that) and we’re REALLY excited to free up moneys for community building, ministry stuff and also to build a little cushion so we don’t have to live so close to the black line.

…and I turn 28 tomorrow. 
For friends and family who are interested, I think we can keep our same phone number since it’s through our broadband connection and we’ll let you know our new address ASAP. We’re going to go looking at a place today that seems promising.

Please pray for us, for a smooth transition and esp. for our girls and our cats - moving can be hard on even the most flexible adult, much less pets and kiddos.
