Today I took Shay’el swimming. On the way there she rubbed her eyes and got sunscreen in them and they got all red and rashy looking. But it didnt’ seem to bother her too much so I just flushed them at the pool. She had fun at the pool but she was tired so she wasn’t being very obedient. We stayed for about an hour, until she was about to fall asleep standing up. It was so sad, she was really tired but wanted to stay so she was fighting being sleeping and trying so hard to be awake. LOL She was asleep practically before we left the parking lot poor thing. She never really had lunch either so I’m sure she’ll be starving when she finally wakes up.

Joe and I met about my role at Blue Sky. Long story short, I am now just doing the graphic arts and design and also emailing the calendar. I will also be working on visitor packets and a database (but that won’t be till next year). So, I’m no longer on leadership but as much of an ego bruise that is, it’s a very good thing…and it’s what I wanted. David is stepping up into his role and I need to be free to support him. I also am looking forward to having the time to be involved in some other areas that I normally can’t because I’m too busy. I’m also getting more work from Heather and Harry. So all in all, it’s the best thing. I think it has become clear to Joe that I’m best used in task focused areas…which is true.
